There was an increase in numbers on offer this week. The prices for Bullocks were similar to last week, while the there was an improvement in the trade for both Heifers and Dry Cows. . Weekly sales continue on Fridays for Bullocks, Heifers & Dry Cows at 11. a.m. Special sales will be held on Fridays February 8th for Bullocks and Friday February 15th for Heifers. Bookings accepted at the office for Bullocks at 5 p.m. on Thursday January 31st and at 5 p.m. on February 7th for Heifers. Suck Calves sales will be held Tuesdays weekly at 5 p.m. with Suckler Cows & Weanlings at 6 p.m. Stock maybe pre-booked
Change in Brucellosis Testing Requirements.
Please note that as and from 1st January the age threshold for the pre-movement Brucellosis test for Heifers has been increased from 18 months to 24 months and will be valid for 60 days.
The pre-movement Brucellosis test for Bulls remains at 24 months and will also be valid for 60 days.
