There was a nice entry of Sheep at the opening sale of the New Year. There was a flying trade for lambs with prices improved by €5 to €6 a head from the sale held prior to Christmas. There was also an excellent trade for Stag Ewes with a full clearance of lots. There was also a small entry of in Lamb Lamb Ewes which met with a good demand. Weekly sales continue on Wednesday for Lambs & Cast Ewes at 11 a.m. Yard opens at 8.30 a.m. Included in sale on Wednesday January 14th special entry of 40 Ram Lambs & 40 Ewe Lambs.
