There was a good entry of Weanlings again this week. Prices are holding firm for quality lots, however plainer type animals are harder to clear. Prices for Weanling Heifers averaged from €2.60 a kilo up to €3.20 a kilo, while Weanling Bulls ranged from an average of €2.54 a kilo up to a maximum of €3.32 a kilo.There was a good clearance of lots with farmers very active.
