There was an excellent entry of top quality weanlings on offer at this week’s sale. There was a lively trade for both Heifer and Bull Weanlings. There was a very good attendance of customers actively bidding for stock resulting in a very high clearance of lots. The trade for Bull Weanlings was improved again this week with a maximum price of €3.57 per kilo and an average price of €2.63 per kilo. There was also a better trade for Heifer Weanlings with a maximum price of €3.36 per kilo and an average price of €2.77 per kilo. The special entry of top quality Springers ranged from €1560 to €2000 per head. Cows with calves at foot made from €2020 to €2080.
