There was a good turnout of Breeding Sheep at the first sale of the season held on Saturday last withnumbers well up on the comparative sale last year. There was a good trade for Breeding Ewes with a top price of €181 for a pen of 2 year old Ewes. Average prices for Ewes were a little better than the same sale last year.There was a top price of €215 for a pen of 12 hoggets. Average prices for Hoggetswere slightly less than last year.
