There was smaller numbers on offer this week. The average prices for Hoggets were slightly back on the previous week. However there was a full clearance of lots. There was a good trade for Cast Ewes with a small improvement in prices..

Wednesday January 22nd– Special Entry of 31 Ewes- consisting of 10 Hoggets, 12 (2 year olds), 6 (3 year olds), 3 (4 year olds) scanned in lamb to Suffolk and Char. Rams due end of Feb. On Wednesday January 29th – A special entry of 20 2nd Crop Suffolk X Ewes scanned in lamb to Texel Ram carrying 1.8 lambs due Ist February.
