There was another large turnout of stock at last Friday’s sale which included a special sale of excellent quality Heifers. There was a brisk trade for Heifers with lots making from €2.32 per kilo up to €3.53 per kilo or €1200 with the weight. There was a slightly easier trade for lesser quality Bullocks and lots more difficult to clear. Prices for Bullocks ranged from €1.97 per kilo up to €2.50 per kilo. There was a large entry of Dry Cows on offer with the majority of lots sold with prices averaging from €1.54 per kilo up to €1.96 per kilo. Cattle must be penned by 10 a.m. to be included in the Draw.
