There was a large entry of Cattle at our sale on Friday last which included a Special sale of top-class Bullocks. There was a brisk trade for Bullocks with a good demand from the large number of customers bidding at the ringside and on line. Prices for Bullocks averaged from €2.29 per kilo up to €3.06 per kilo. Numbers of Heifers were small due to the big entry of 92 pens for next week’s special sale. Prices for Heifers ranged from an average of €2.10 per kilo up to €2.76 per kilo. Dry Cows fetched from €1.64 per kilo up to €2.04 per kilo.
