There was a good entry of excellent quality cattle on offer at Friday’s weekly sale. There was a brisk trade with the majority of lots sold. Once again, this week there were plenty of customers in attendance all actively sourcing stock. Prices for Bullocks averaged from €2.24 per kilo up to €2.78 per kilo. Heifers ranged from an average of €2.15 per kilo up to €2.25 per kilo. Dry Cows fetched from €1.65 per kilo up to €2.04 per kilo. Friday next February 14th – Special Sale of Heifers –15 pens on offer, also Bullocks and Dry Cows. Friday February 21st Spring Special Sale of Bullocks Bookings accepted up to 5 p.m. on this Thursday February 13th Also Heifers and Dry Cows.
