There was a very good entry of excellent quality cattle on offer at our sale on Friday last.
The Bullock trade was on fire with lots fetching from an average of €2.80 per kilo up a high of €3.61 per kilo. Heifer numbers were small due to next week’s Special Sale. Prices ranged from an average of €2.51 per kilo up to €2.58 per kilo. There was a brisk trade for Dry Cows with lots averaging from €2.40 per kilo up to €2.70 per kilo. There was good activity on line with ringside bidding also very strong.
