There was a big turnout of top-quality stock on offer at Tuesday’s Show and Sale of Weanlings with excellent prices and high percentage clearance of lots. Weanlings Bulls averaged from €2.50 per kilo up to €3.52 per kilo. There was a flying trade for Weanling Heifers with averages of €2.60 per kilo up to a high of €5.35 per kilo for the 1st Prize Winner weighing 340 kgs and fetching €1820. The majority of customers this week were farmers and Agents while there were also a small number of exporters in attendance.
