There were bigger numbers on offer at our second sale of the New Year with a brisk trade and a good demand for all stock with the majority of lots getting sold. Heifers averaged from €2.22 per kilo up to €2.59 per kilo. Again, this week there was a good entry of Dry Cows with lots averaging from €1.52 per kilo up to €1.87 per kilo. The number of Bullocks on offer were small as a result of next week’s special sale.
