There was a good entry of excellent quality cattle on offer at last Friday’s sale with a vibrant trade for all stock. Heifers ranged from an average of €2.31 per kilo up to €2.85 per kilo. The number of Dry Cows were smaller this week with lots fetching from €1.64 per kilo up to €1.98 per kilo. Numbers of Bullocks were small due to the strong entry of 60 pens for next week’s sale. Prices for Bullocks averaged from €2.35 per kilo up to €2.56 per kilo. Once again, this week there were plenty of customers in attendance anxious for stock. Friday next March 6th – Special Sale of Bullocks 60 pens on offer, Also Heifers and Dry Cows . Friday March 13th Springtime Special Sale of Heifers -Bookings accepted up to 5 p.m. on this Thursday March 5th Also Bullocks and Dry Cows.
