There were bigger numbers on offer this week. This week saw a few entries of Spring lamb for the Easter market. Prices for Spring Lamb fetched €146 for 46kgs. Prices for finished hoggets peaked at €136 for 58.7kgs. There was a steady trade for Cast Ewes with prices ranging from €75 up to €136. Sales continue each Wednesday at 11 a.m. for Lambs, Cast Ewes & Ewes with lambs at foot. Sheep Scanning Service this Wednesday 17th April (9 a.m. to 10a.m.) and each week there after.
