There was a good entry of Top-quality Breeding Sheep on offer at the opening sale of the season on Saturday last. There was a lively trade for Breeding Ewes with a good clearance of lots. 2-year olds made up to €156. There was a brisk trade for Hoggets with the tops fetching €215. Breeding Sales continue on Saturday next August 10th at 11 a.m. Gates open at 8 a.m. Also West of Ireland Registered Pedigree Suffolk Sheep Breeders Club Premier Show & Sale of Suffolk Sheep – Show at 11 30 a.m. Slae at 1.30 p.m.
