There were good numbers on offer at the Show & Sale of Weanlings held on Tuesday last with a brisk trade all-round with Farmers, Agents and Exporter all anxious for stock. There was a vibrant trade for Bull Weanlings with prices averaging from €2.71 per kilo up to €3.58 per kilo with a 95% clearance of lots. There was a brisk trade for Weanling Heifers with prices ranging from averages of €2.75 per kilo up to €3.71 per kilo with 84% of lots sold. There was a good demand for Springing Cows with lots fetching from €1040 up to €1780. Cows with calves at foot made from €1560 up to €1620.
