There was a smaller number of sheep on offer this week. There was a dip in trade for Spring Lambs with the tops fetching €107 for 49.5 kgs. A pen of good quality Ewe Lambs 46.7 kgs made €126. Again this week there was a good demand for store lambs. Prices for Cast Ewes ranged from €45 up to €125 per head. Sheep sales continue each Wednesdays at 11 a.m. for Lambs & Cast Ewes.
