There was a nice entry of sheep on offer at the first sale of the New Year. The average price for Hoggets was slightly better than the last sale held before Christmas. There was a very strong trade for Cast Ewes with prices fetching as high as €136.50. Sheep sales continue weekly on Wednesdays at 11 a.m. Yard opens at 8.30 a.m.
