There was another large entry of stock on offer at last Friday’s sale. There was a solid trade for Bullocks with prices averaging from €2.04 per kilo up to €2.59 per kilo with a good demand and a 93% clearance of lots. Prices for Heifers were steady for plainer lots while the trade for quality lots were slightly improved with prices averaging from €2.25 per kilo up to €2.91 per kilo and an 82% clearance. There was an improved trade for Dry Cows with prices averaging from €1.53 per kilo up to €2.89 per kilo and a 95% clearance of lots.
