There was a good entry of sheep on offer this week. There was an improvement in the trade for lambs with prices improved from €3 to €4 per head on last week. There was also a lift in the trade for Cast Ewes. There was a good demand for Ewes with Lambs at foot with prices ranging for Ewes with twins making up €216 while a pen of 1st Crop Ewes with single lambs fetched up to €218.
Sales continue each Wednesdays at 11 a.m. for Lambs, Cast Ewes and Ewes with Lambs at Foot.
