There was great turnout of stock at the Show & Sale of Weanlings held on Tuesday evening last. There was a brisk trade for Bulls with prices averaging from €2.66 per kilo up to €3.85 per kilo. There was a lively trade for Weanling Heifers with average prices ranging from €2.61 per kilo up to €5.28 per kilo for a Lim X Heifer weighing 265 kgs and fetching €1400. There was a good demand for the special entry of 10 Cows with strong calves at foot with lots making from €1820 up to €2280. Exporters and Agents were active, but there was a stronger demand from Farmers.
