There was a very large entry of Weanlings on offer at Tuesdays Show and Sale with a good attendance of buyers with Farmers, Exporters and Agents anxious for stock. The trade was slightly easier than the previous week. Prices for Weanling Heifers averaged from €2.21 per kilo up to €3.44 per kilo. Weanling Bulls fetched from an average of €2.39 per kilo up to €3.75 per kilo. A special entry of Springers made from €1400 up to €1840.
