There was a large entry of top quality stock on offer at last Tuesday’s sale with a lively trade for all classes and a good demand from the large number of customers in attendance. Prices for Weanling Bulls ranged from €2.56 per kilo up to €3.46 per kilo. Weanling Heifers averaged from €2.55 per kilo up to €3.42 per kilo. Cows with calves at foot made from €1400 up to €1680 with Springing Cows making up to €1100. After 5 p.m. The yard will be closed again except for Staff Only. Cattle that are not penned by 4 p.m. will have to wait to be penned until after the viewing period is over.
