Once again there was a large number of excellent quality cattle presented for sale on Friday last. There was an outstanding trade for quality lots of Bullocks with prices fetching from €2.32 per kilo up to €3.10 per kilo. There was a slightly easier trade for plainer lots. Average prices for Heifers ranged from €2.15 per kilo up to €2.50 per kilo. There was a similar trade for Dry Cows with lots averaging from €1.56 per kilo up to €1.94 per kilo.
